River trips are a scenic adventure down the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers in the Harpers Ferry area of West Virginia and Maryland. Come have a complete outdoor experience only an hour from Washington, DC.

Shenandoah Rafting

The Shenandoah raft trip, a favorite through the years, includes whitewater action and slow water solitude. Come experience the beauty & history of the Shenandoah as it makes its way to the Potomac River at Harpers Ferry National Park. This is an exciting trip for beginners and a favorite of our seasoned guests!
Rafts, paddles, life jackets, a beverage and shuttle to and from the river are provided. Each raft accommodates four to six guests. No previous rafting experience required. However, participants should have no fear of water activities, and you will get wet. Reservations are required. Minimum age 6 to 8, but at least 50 lbs.
Combination trips available with bike rentals.

Rafting and Camping Packages available.

Photos are generally taken by Pappy's Pics at Bull Falls during your rafting adventure and are available for purchase after your trip.

(Class I - III) whitewater departure times are
9:00AM and 1:30 PM, 7 days a week.

The Harpers Ferry area offers the perfect playground for beginning kayak or ducky (inflatable kayak) trips. Here is where you and your sit-on-top kayak or ducky become friends. Your guide/instructor leads the way down river and helps you quickly master your craft. Are you ready for a personal challenge in the small, quick, and maneuverable kayak or ducky? Requirements: 12 years or older. 250 lbs. max weight. Perfect for the more adventurous guest.

9:00 AM and 1:30 PM, 7 days a week.

We also offer Kayak Instruction.
